Provera is also used to decrease the risk of endometrial hyperplasia (a condition that may lead to uterine cancer) while taking estrogens. PROVERA tablets are indicated for the treatment of secondary amenorrhea and abnormal uterine bleeding due to hormonal imbalance in the absence of organic pathology, such as fibroids or uterine cancer. PROVERA is used to treat menstrual periods that have stopped or to treat abnormal uterine bleeding. Talk with your doctor about whether PROVERA is right for you. Used for the management and treatment of endometriosism, menopausal vasomotor symptoms, primary &, secondary amenorrhea, dysfunctional (anovulatory) uterine bleeding.
